Hi,
Ok, just trying out this Q and A thing... I've been trying various dry hop finishing techniques with kit brews. This has included the hop 'teabag technology' bags, dried leaf hops and hop pellets. I like really hoppy IPA type beer- typically with American hops. I have used quite a few of the kits that come with hop pellets but am experimenting with other kits too.
Has anyone tried hop finishing at the kegging stage? I guess you'd have to use a 'teabag' or sterilized and rinsed bag in the keg to avoid leaf sediment in your beer ...

yo .......personally when I rack my beer into the secondry that's when I dry hop , the beer is then racked again before bottling or barrelling .I have a few tea infuser balls which I steralise and put the hop leaf in . pellets are a different matter will need filtering because the way they dissolve . found dry hopping with leaf is better buts that's my opinion .....
cheers warren

Thanks Warren. Yeah, I use a sterilised straining bag to filter the hop debris out when using hop pellets. I'd not thought of a tea infuser- that's a good idea.
