hi all, fairly new to all this.
Been brewing beer and in bottles it was fine.
bought 2 kegs from the shop - one with bottom tap - and now one with a top tap.
followed all instructions religiously. and added the correct amount of sugar to the keg 150 gms for triple tykes special export. ( which is really really nice )
the only problem i have is that it comes out of the tap almost explosively !! it really froths and a pint glass of froth is what i get, after a few minutes it settles down and i get 3/4 of a pint of beer from it, then repeat etc till i have a full glass ( for a wile anyway )
the fault is obviously mine - what am i doing wrong ?

greetings colin
150g of primming sugar for your keg seems a bit excessive . when I use my plastic barrels I generally use between 80-100g .
happy brewing
